During the COVID -19 pandemic and university campus closure, our on-campus Queer Chat group has been suspended. In its place, the La Trobe University Counselling Service will be running “Queer Chat Online”, an online group program held Wednesdays from 1 – 2 pm via Zoom.
Queer Chat Online is a way to continue to connect with like-minded students and to chat about all things queer during this period of social distancing.
Please register your interest in attending Queer Chat Online by submitting this online enquiry form. You will be provided further information about the online group and how to participate once you have submitted an enquiry form.
Please note: This portal is for non-urgent requests only.
If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts or if you are in an emergency situation, please contact the La Trobe University Crisis Line by calling 1300 146 307 or by texting 0488 884 100. Alternatively, you can contact Lifeline 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 13 11 14.
Remember: If there is risk of imminent harm to you or someone else, call Emergency Services on 000.
