Subject outline

This subject is the first of two parts taken in successive semesters that together constitute the 30 credit point subject EDU4REI or EDU4RE2. In this capstone subject pre-service teachers apply the principles and practices of teaching and learning to independently plan and execute teaching units. The subject integrates theory and practice through reflection, observation, inquiry and adaptation to a range of school contexts. The assessment tasks include the scaffolded development of a literature review with a focus on literacy and numeracy development.

02. Identify and analyse key information within credible research that supports inclusive teaching practice, drawing on this knowledge to present a literature review that synthesises educational theory, research findings and pedagogical practices.
