Subject outline
Technology enabled supply chains are becoming increasingly effective, efficient, and transparent. These smart supply chains rely on three major components; (1) connectivity between systems in the supply chain to exchange data, (2) Internet of Things (IOT) integration into traditional items such as pallets and trucks to record real time movement of products, and (3) advanced analytics throughout the chain to support intelligent decision making. In this subject you will learn how to model and design smart supply chains to enable data driven decision making, optimization of operations, and adaptation to changing market conditions.
