Subject outline
In this subject,students are introduced to the theoretical and practical study of outdoor andenvironmental studies. Students will examine and explore connections betweenways of experiencing the outdoors and knowledge of the outdoors, with anemphasis on implications for environmental sustainability. Students will alsodevelop skills of critical enquiry, academic reading and writing, problemsolving, and teamwork. A three-day practical field trip provides opportunitiesfor observation and reflection which are recorded through journal keeping.
