Subject outline


This subject introduces students to a spectrum of statistical thinking and skills required for future learning in general university programs. Students will develop conceptual knowledge and procedural skills in statistical analysis. Students will develop skills in Excel use sufficient to manage and analyse simple data sets. Assessments tasks are based on cumulative development of skills and include online quizzes and a project task.

04. Develop Excel graphs, transfer these graphs to other applications (such as Word) and generate reports on these findings
