Subject outline
In this subject students will gain an understanding of the interrelationship between the physical environment and human health, and environmental health and public health practice. The main themes covered within this subject include global and local environmental issues, environmental justice, ecological sustainability, environmental management and legislation. This subject will also provide students with an introduction to the frameworks that public health and health promotion practitioners can use to contribute to an ecologically sustainable world, and so contribute to improving human health. This subject is taught online.
