Subject outline

The purpose of this subject is to give students a broad understanding of the different issues faced by food producers, manufacturers, marketers, importers and exporters and consumers in Australia and in other countries, to understand the major practical issues facing these important sectors of the economy, and the international system within which local legal and regulatory practices are embedded. The subject will consider wider issues relevant to the topic, including food security.
