Subject outline
This subject is designed to provide final-year students with further information on all disciplines within dentistry. A series of online material, classes and tutorials will involve each of the specialist disciplines building on complexity from the previous years. One Back to Base session will be held in the first half of the year to focus attention on the multidisciplinary aspects of treatment planning along with a comprehensive approach to patient care.

03. Formulate a set of criteria that may be used to decide whether a severely broken down tooth is restorable and how and when missing teeth should be replaced. (including the use of dental implants)

04. Conduct, explain and discuss the planning of restorative, periodontic and prosthetic dental treatment as part of comprehensive oral rehabilitation.
