Studio and Research 2 builds on the skills developed in unit 1 and extends the theoretical and conceptual support for the self-proposed trans disciplinary studio studies component. The subject focuses on the development of the work proposal and negotiates the research rigour that leads to a vital studio methodology.The skills learnt provide the direction for students to complete their folio and prepares them for undertaking the research project in honours year.

02. Develop and evaluate ideas, concepts and processes by thinking creatively, critically and reflectively.

Activities:
Develop a depth of knowledge of visual media through practice and reflective processes with critical analysis of contemporary artists' expressive use of visual media. Demonstrate through the production of artworks and written and peer review presentations.
