Subject outline
In this subject students will be introduced to theories of organisational behaviour, management and change, with reference to health care organisations. Students will examine the major theories used to analyse organisational structures, roles and decision-making. These will be applied to explore core issues in health care organisations, including: team work in service delivery, authority and leadership, conflict, strategies for organisational change, employee participation and job satisfaction, and organisational stress.
