Subject outline
This subject provides students with an opportunity to undertake a significant piece of individual planning practice related research and strategy development work with guidance from academic staff. The subject is typically offered in the final semester of the four-year planning degree and requires students to reflect on practice and ethics issues in planning through the development and completion of a project that will include research in the areas of planning, community development and policy assessment. Projects may include original research, strategy development and policy review, as approved by the subject co-ordinator. The subject will involve participation in seminars as well as independent research activities.
