Subject outline
The Honours program is of approximately nine months duration and commences early February. Honours in Human Nutrition aims to provide students with research skills to enable students to independently conduct a research project in their chosen area of nutrition and report the findings of their work in a scientific format. The skills and capabilities gained in this year-long subject include independent thinking, critical evaluation of literature, selection of appropriate experimental designs, practical application of nutrition research tools, data analysis and interpretation and oral and written communication of findings.

Special conditions Students must have achieved a minimum WAM of 70 in HBHN Bachelor of Human Nutrition to be offered a place in the honours program or subject can be taken with Subject Coordinator's approval.
