Subject outline
In this subject students will learn the tools and techniques of screen and sound analysis through the study of a variety of multimodal texts that include films, television series and serials, photography, comic book and graphic novel adaptations, videogames and animation. Students will learn how to apply screen and sound concepts such as mise-en-scene, cinematography, montage, soundtrack, sound design and performance to a variety of texts. Students will develop skills of analysis, interpretation and research through critical and creative projects. This subject will address the Innovation and Entrepeneurship Essential.
