Subject outline

In this subject students will consolidate their understanding of and examination of current issues in visual arts practice and theory. Through a developing independent research culture, the student will develop their critical inquiry of contemporary arts practice through their specific visual arts discipline/s. The production of a folio of artwork will be the major outcome of this subject. The artwork will be supported by the analysis of several relevant contemporary artists' work shaping the context in which their work is placed.
