In this subject, students engage with social issues and contexts relevant to schooling, teaching and education. A range of topics are covered in this subject which are situated across the broad field of contemporary discourses in education, supporting Indigenous learners, 21st century learning, and teachers as change agents. Topics may vary in line with shifts in areas that are currently the focus of contemporary educational and public interest.

Lecture/SeminarWeek: 22 - 22
Two 4.0 hours lecture/seminar per study period on weekdays during the day from week 22 to week 22 and delivered via face-to-face.
"Two preliminary half-day sessions at the on-campus intensive."

Scheduled Online ClassWeek: 22 - 35
One 1.0 hours scheduled online class per week on any day including weekend at night from week 22 to week 35 and delivered via online.
"4-6 hours per week of engagement with the online study materials, including synchronous, asynchronous and individual tasks as advised (directed online learning)."
