Subject outline
In this subject students will develop research skills to independently conduct a research project in their chosen area of nutrition and report the findings of their work in a scientific format. The skills and capabilities gained in this year-long subject include independent thinking, critical evaluation of literature, selection of appropriate experimental designs, practical application of nutrition research tools, data analysis and interpretation, and oral and written communication of findings. The full program lasts approximately 9 months and starts early February.

Prerequisites Must be enrolled in HHHN - Bachelor of Human Nutrition with Honours and must have achieved a WAM of 70 in HBHN - Bachelor of Human Nutrition to be offered an honours year. All other students require subject coordinator approval.
