Subject outline
This subject introduces students to the principles and skills for researching, writing and producing compelling stories for different types of media and publishing platforms, including text, video, audio, still images, blogs and web-based data visualisation tools such as Google maps. Students will develop the skills necessary to critically evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of different publishing platforms and select the right platform for the right story. At the completion of this subject, students will have used three different media to tell a single story.
