In this subject students investigate the health and wellbeing dimensions of Early Childhood care, particularly in terms of the responsibilities of an Early Childhood educator. The Convention on the Rights of the Child is drawn upon to address the notion that every child, regardless of gender, ethnicity, language, religion, socioeconomic status or abilities, has basic rights and is entitled to reach their potential.
