Applied Theatre is an umbrella term covering a broad range of process-focused and socially-minded theatre and performance practices. The subject will introduce students to: - theoretical concepts which underpin applied theatre processes and practices - a range of practical skills, including: workshop facilitation; participatory theatre; theatre and intervention - fields of applied theatre, such as: multicultural theatre; community theatre; theatre for elders; theatre and disability; theatre for development

Prerequisites 30 credit points of subjects from the Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty at first year level. Students require co-ordinator's approval.
