Flu vaccination program
Be prepared this flu season by participating in our student flu vaccination program, offered as part of our partnership with Medibank Private. All currently enrolled students have the opportunity to receive a free 2026 trivalent influenza (flu) vaccination as part of the program. By getting vaccinated, you not only reduce your own risk of illness, but also help prevent the spread of the virus, keeping yourself and your community safer.
Book your appointment online
You can choose to receive your vaccine on-site during one of La Trobe's vaccination days at various campuses, or register for a voucher to visit one of hundreds of participating clinics. Vaccinations will be administered by the experienced team at Australian Vaccine Services.
Vaccination sessions will be available at all campuses during April and May, except for the City Campus. If you’re based at the City Campus, you are welcome to book an appointment at the Melbourne (Bundoora) Campus.
A limited number of vaccinations are available, so please book your appointment now to avoid missing out.
For more information about the influenza vaccine, read the 2026 Influenza Vaccine FAQs [PDF 434 KB]. For further booking information, see the Vaccine Booking FAQs [PDF 132 KB].
To register for a voucher to use at your nearest participating pharmacy, visit the Vaccination Program website and select ‘Order a flu voucher’. See How to order a voucher [PDF 364 KB] for step-by-step guidance.
