Subject outline
Pre-Service Teachers will build an understanding of literacy and numeracy as social practices. Pre-Service Teachers will examine and review essential literacy and numeracy skills required by teachers. Pre-Service Teachers will be required to identify and examine their own literacy and numeracy capabilities and practices and developed these through a series of online skill-development modules. Through weekly reflections, students will improve their understandings of their own literacy and numeracy skills, in order to meet the literacy and numeracy demands of teachers.
