Accept your offer and enrol in subjects
To secure your place at La Trobe, you need to enrol in at least one 15 credit point subject. When you enrol, you’ll need to set up your student account and understand your student fees.

New to La Trobe workshop
Starting uni comes with a lot of new information, and this live, online session will help you feel more confident . You’ll meet your Student Advisor, who’ll walk you through all the essentials of being a student – from what to expect in your first classes to the support available to you.
Key systems
It’s a good idea to make sure you’re familiar with all the systems you’ll be using as a student at La Trobe before your classes start. Here are some of the most common ones – click the links to get set up and learn how to use each one:
- LMS: Your online learning environment where you can access course materials, submit assessments and engage with your teachers and classmates.
- StudentOnLine: Your online portal to manage admin and enrolment tasks like enrolling in subjects, updating your address, paying student fees and accessing your results.
- Allocate+: You’ll use this system to create and manage your class timetable in each study period.
- Student email: Your official La Trobe email account. Once you’re enrolled, we’ll only contact you via this email – so make sure you check it regularly!
- Wifi (Eduroam): Our secure wireless network, which will give you access to free internet on campus using your student login.
- MyLaTrobe: Your go-to for connecting to student life at La Trobe, including events, opportunities and more. Follow @MyLaTrobe on Instagram to get updates straight to your feed.
