Respect @ La Trobe

We lead initiatives that build your wellbeing and prevent harm - things like strengthening mental health and preventing gender-based violence. Our work includes delivering training, running campaigns and creating resources that give you the knowledge and skills to create lasting positive change. Respect Week @ Uni

Respect Week @ Uni is an annual campaign that promotes a safe, inclusive and respectful campus community.

Each year the event brings a range of activities, including interactive stalls, creative installations, student-led conversations, wellbeing workshops and opportunities to speak to La Trobe representatives that work towards promoting health, wellness and safety.

Across the week you can take part in activities that explore what respect looks like at La Trobe University and how we can support one another. These activities offer practical tools, resources and conversations that help build confidence in recognising and responding to harm.

Respect Week @ Uni has a key focus on the prevention of gender-based violence. Through training, bystander education and clear support pathways, La Trobe empowers all students to look out for their peers and access help when needed.

Join Respect Week @ Uni, get involved in the activities and learn how you can contribute a safe and respectful community at La Trobe.
