Professional Placement subjects

Please note

The Industry Placement Minor as four combined subjects leading to a Minor, is no longer available to students, however the individual Professional Placement Subjects are available for enrolment up to the end of 2026. Consultation with the Professional Placement Program Coordinator is essential.

The Professional Placement Subjects, a suite of 4 subjects, are university-wide electives designed for students to explore longer placements or multiple placement experiences within their degree.  They are best suited for students who have more than one elective subject available that they would like to use to complete placement.

These subjects are ideal for students who want to:

  • Explore different career options
  • Complete 100 - 400 hours of placement experience
  • Immerse themselves in one or more professional settings
  • Undertake 1-4 elective placements
