Tips from ASK La Trobe

Follow these steps to add an elective to your study plan:

1 - Find the line that states something like "Step 1. Select a first-year elective subject" 2 - Click the choose button 3 - Type in subject code 4 - Click ‘Search, and then ‘Add to Study Planner’ when you have found the correct subject/location/instance 5 - Click ‘Save'

Remember you are not yet enrolled, you will need to go back to your study planner and enrol in the subject.

Where possible, try to plan out your full calendar year of subjects to ensure you are able to enrol in the maximum number of subjects on offer as some subjects are only offered in one study period each year.

The University will always contact you on your La Trobe student email account, so check these daily or set up an auto-forward to your personal email account if you are not in the habit of checking these regularly. And make sure you update your phone number in your StudentOnLine, just in case the University needs to contact you urgently.
