ArcGIS

ArcGIS Pro is available to our students for mapping, spatial analysis, and data visualization. It supports 2D and 3D data, helping students conduct geospatial research and apply GIS techniques in their studies.

Before You Install ArcGIS Pro

  1. Sign into La Trobe OnTheHub.
  2. Search for ‘ArcGIS Pro’.
  3. Before installing, make sure your computer meets the necessary system requirements for the program.
  4. Add this product to your cart.
  5. Click Checkout.
  6. Fill out information and follow prompts.
  7. Once the checkout is completed click the download button to download the ArcGIS installer.

Installing and Activating ArcGIS Pro

  1. After installation, launch ArcGIS Pro and select 'Named User License', ArcGIS Enterprise.
  2. Enter the server URL: https://latrobeuni.maps.arcgis.com.
  3. Click ok.
  4. Click the 'La Trobe University Entra ID' button.
  5. Sign in when prompted to your LTU account.
  6. Follow the remaining prompts to activate and use ArcGIS Pro.
