Subject outline

This subject allows students to participate in a placement at an organisation undertaking legal work, such as a law firm or government department, while concurrently undertaking academic study. Students may apply for placement opportunities organised by the Law School or apply on the basis of a self organised placement. Self organised placements must be approved by the Coordinator, must be unpaid and not in an organisation where the student has worked or is currently working. Students have five classes both face to face and on line in which they study current issues relating issues facing the legal profession. Students also required to reflect on their practice experience in their journal entries and oral presentation.
