Subject outline

In this subject students undertake a major self-directed project, produced under supervision, which concludes with an end-of-year exhibition supported by an exegesis (7,500 - 9,000 words). This subject encourages independent research within a studio and practice-led context where a high level of critical and conceptual awareness, technical competency and judgment is required. This subject prepares students for higher professional achievement and further post-graduate study. This subject is linked to the second semester subject VPA4SPB and the writing of the final exegesis and must be undertaken concurrently with VPA4RMA in Semester 1. Honous can only be completed full time.
