Subject outline

In this subject, students are offered the opportunity to design and implement a project that supports the development of their clinical expertise, scholarly inquiry and skills in reporting. Students may design a project that is completed within this subject or a project that spans both this subject and the subject titled Independent Study Unit (NSM5ISU), which would normally precede this subject. Students are allocated an academic supervisor who offers guidance throughout the duration of the investigation. The subject is delivered via a flexible online mode via the LMS and regular communication with a designated academic and/or clinical supervisor.

Prerequisites Must be admitted in the following course code: HMN (V1, V2, V3 or V4); and must have passed all subjects in: NSM5RFN and NSM5CPR and NSM5APA and NSM5APB; OR Must be admitted in the following course code: HMMID; and must have passed all subjects in: NSM5APA and NSM5APB and NSM5CIA; OR Must be admitted in the following course code: HMMH; and must have passed all subjects in: NSM5CPR and NSM5RFN and MMH5AMP and MMH5AMH; OR Must be admitted in the following course code: HMMN; and must have passed all subjects in: MMH5AMP and MMH5AMH; and must have passed two of the following subjects: NSM5RFN, NSM5CPR, NSM5TMA, NSM5TMB

04. Report on the outcomes of a project in written format appropriate for different purposes
