Subject outline

In this subject you will be introduced to the concept of clinical governance and the use of evidence to improve the quality of health care offered. You will apply the principles of evidence-based practice in a critique of current clinical practice and formulate a detailed plan for the conduct of a clinical audit as a means of investigating the effectiveness, appropriateness and feasibility of a clinical practice. The subject is comprised of a series of learning activities that are delivered online and supported by a facilitator.
