This subject is atransition pathway to the Bachelor of Nursing (Post-registration) in Singaporeand Mauritius. This subject is delivered in a number of modules that uselectures, online activities, workshops and clinical laboratories. You will furtherdevelop foundational nursing knowledge and clinical skills and refine yourabilities to undertake systematic health assessments to support person-centredcare. You will develop an understanding of the clinical reasoning process andthe role of research and evidence-based practice in your patient care. Additionally,the subject will enable you to apply human anatomy and physiology toprofessional nursing practice.

02. Explain the clinical reasoning cycle and its use in planning nursing care across the lifespan and in different contexts
- Activities:
- Online activities providing examples of the clinical reasoning process and its use of planning nursing care. Workshop activities examining the clinical reasoning process using case study scenarios. Workshop activities examining available evidence for a selection of relevant nursing interventions. Clinical skills laboratories to develop nursing care plans.
