This subject is a transition pathway to the Bachelor of Nursing course (second year) which will enable you to complete an accelerated degree. This subject is delivered in a number of modules. Through lectures, online activities, workshops and clinical laboratories, students will develop foundational nursing knowledge and the academic and practical skills required for person-centred care, an understanding of the clinical reasoning process, enquiry-based learning, working in teams and evidence-based practice, and be able to apply human anatomy and physiology to professional nursing practice.
