Subject outline

In this subject you will undertake a project in exercise science. You will develop fundamental research skills and apply discipline knowledge and techniques to address questions in exercise science. Individually, or as part of a small group, you will work on projects that will include planning, project management, data collection, data analysis, critical interpretation and dissemination. You will be expected to meet with your project supervisor on a regular basis and work independently in self-directed learning. This subject addresses La Trobe's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Essential. Innovation and Entrepreneurship entails developing the ability to tackle problems creatively, generating new ideas, taking calculated risks and creating change to achieve ambitions - now and in the future.

Prerequisites Must pass HLT2IEP & EXS2ESP & EXS2ESB & EXS2MCL (or equivalent) and must be enrolled in one of HBESB, HBES Bachelor of Exercise Science or HZESPB Bachelor of Exercise Science/Master of Exercise Physiology. All other students require Subject Coordinator's approval.
