Subject outline

This subject enables students to develop skills in researching, planning, drafting and editing an essay for academic purposes.Students identify the conventions and purpose of academic essay writing and the development and anchoring of an academic argument. All stages of the essay writing process are supported by peer review and lecturer feedback. Assessments include an annotated bibliography, an essay plan and a final essay draft.
