In this subject, you will explore the theory and practice of sport development in terms of its role in fostering participation in sport. You will learn how government and organisational policies influence the delivery of sport development programs, and how to plan, manage and evaluate the outcomes of sport development programs in a range of cultural contexts. You will develop the capacity to critique a range of sport development programs and develop strategies to address a range of sport development issues.
