This subject examines the implications of the changing nature of work in Australia, for both workers and management. Throughout the semester, you will explore the social, economic and legal framework of employment relations in Australia. This will involve consideration of the nature and organisation of work in modern society; the characteristics of the employment relationship; and the competing interests of workers, employers, trade unions, Government and other relevant stakeholders involved in modern employment relations.
