Subject outline
This subject is designed to develop students' understanding of contemporary theory, concepts and issues in Design and Technologies. This subject examines the notion of technology and society and how this can be developed within secondary education. Similarly, the development of design thinking is considered central to design and technology education, accordingly this subject critically examines the concept of design thinking along with a wide range of issues and debates in design and technology education.
