The focus of this subject is the skills and knowledge required to develop mobile applications based on the Android mobile platform. The subject provides information on creating Android applications responding to events, using features of the mobile device, using communication protocols, web connectivity and using different data persistence techniques. The subject also provides information on designing, debugging and developing applications that optimise the performance.
