Subject outline
In this subject you will learn the skills needed to produce and operate a simple broadcast program. You will learn the elements needed to get a broadcast to air, including managing the studio and other members of a news team. You will also learn technical skills for operating the audiovisual studio, formatting and editing audio visuals; and uploading material online. This subject works in conjunction with La Trobe University's Upstart Media Network, and the assignments will involve practical exercises that will be produced live-to-air, and then recut for on-demand consumption.
