Subject outline

In this subject students will learn how to use a patient-centred model of clinical reasoning to assist with diagnosis, assessment and management of common fracture and vertebral conditions. Students will develop skills in selecting and performing assessment tasks and in designing, implementing and progressing management programs for common fracture and vertebral conditions. The clinical reasoning model includes reference to the WHO International Classification of Functioning framework , a biopsychosocial approach to health care and an emphasis on evidence based practice.
