Graduate capabilities & intended learning outcomes

01. On completion of this subject you will be able to complete a critical review of the literature which, when applied with theory learned in other core subjects, will enable you to undertake an analysis and propose an informed solution of a problem in public health practice.

Substantial literature review in an area of public health practice.

02. Students undertaking this subject will be able to demonstrate high-level presentations skills, both by oral presentations to work setting colleagues and through the production of formal interim and final reports.

Activities:
Presentation of written reports and delivery of oral report in both academic and workplace settings.

03. This subject will reinforce the purpose of undertaking a systematic literature review to provide evidence for public health practice.

Activities:
A structured literature review is expected to be undertaken early in this subject, to underpin the specific issue that the student will be addressing in this subject.
