Subject outline
This subject provides students with the fundamental physiological principals of ocular movement and binocular single vision. Using an enquiry based learning program, students will develop an understanding of the general characteristics of binocular single vision and of the sensory consequences of the abnormal visual experience. The characteristics of strabismus and the relationship between accommodation and strabismus will also be introduced.
