In this subject students will extend clinical restorative skills developed in previous clinical practice subjects to provide simple direct tooth restoration in the adult patient (over the age of 25 years). Particular emphasis will be placed on developing clinical judgment skills in identifying those teeth which require simple direct restoration and those which must be referred for more complex care. Students will develop further knowledge in the management of patients with fixed and removable oral prostheses and in the identification and the preventive management of root caries.
