Subject outline
Healthcare organisations are dynamic and challenging environments regardless of setting or level of nursing staff responsibility, therefore the subject focuses on leadership development for nurses in management/senior positions. Major theoretical frameworks of leadership and management are introduced, alongside a consideration of the different types of organisations and organisational structures.
