Subject outline

In this subject students will examine the regulatory and legal framework of intellectual property law in Australia. Students will analyse the doctrines, principles and policies of intellectual property regulation, including the discrete areas of copyright, patent, design and trade mark laws. Students will also examine the concepts and theories of protecting intellectual property as well as the political, cultural and economic context of the reform of intellectual property laws.
