Subject outline

Research in audiology is a rapidly progressing field which translates into changes in clinical practice. Audiologists require a strong grasp of how to search for evidence in the literature to inform their own clinical practice. This subject will provide you with the knowledge of how clinical decisions can be based on valid and reliable evidence, with particular reference to a chosen area of interest within the field of audiology. Your learning in this subject will be assessed through an individually written thesis and a research project.
