Subject outline

This subject provides a foundation study for the exploration of the image and introduces the student to a range of 2D studio practice that engage the student with the skills development in the traditional and new technologies required for creative expression in the contemporary context of image use and management. Skills are developed through set assignments in the traditional painting/drawing, printmaking and photography studios and in the new technologies of video.
