This subject deals with the application of critical thinking, analysis and reflective practices to assist the student to function independently in developing strategies to practice within the current and future Australian health care environment. The additional skills and knowledge for effective and culturally appropriate communication relevant to contemporary health services are explored. Taught in conjunction with other vocational nursing competencies.
