Topics include: concession (royalty/tax) agreements, production-sharing agreements, risk service contracts, the model international Joint Operating Agreement, and best practices in social/environment issues (seeking to avoid the "petro-curse" and achieve sustainable development). The subject includes an overview of future demand and supply trends in energy, in light of geopolitics and global warming. Time permitting, the subject may address international boundary disputes and Joint Development zones.
