In this unit students explore one or more topics that have recently come to prominence in the field of software development environment, concepts and practices. These develop at a rapid rate. In recent years topics such as distributed and network-based software development, World Wide Web programming, Java, visual programming and client-server computing have come to prominence. Students will develop an appropriate concept base and skills in the covered topic(s).
